Cigar City: get ready for The City 5K Tampa! It's coming to Al Lopez Park. We are focused on showcasing what makes the Big Guava great; the bay, pirates, sports teams, food, and yes...even the sinkholes.

If you're from Tampa, you'll love exploring the best of "The 813" as you run! And if you're visiting, this is the perfect way to experience everything the city has to offer in 5K (or less, if you take the cheater's course). Check out some of the stations that will be setup on the race course below:

Buffalo Wild Wings Challenge

Chicken wings on the course? Yes! Do you want mild or a mouth-on-fire hot mess? Down some authentic Buffalo Wild Wings for protein to finish off your run.

Run With The Pirates

Gaspa-what? Challenge some pirates to a run to start the race. Can you keep up with the swashbucklers?

Ice Hockey Training Camp

When you think of Tampa, what's the first thing that comes to mind? Ice hockey. Well, maybe not...but we know that you love it. We'll have some experts lead you through a training camp obstacle course while you run. Don't worry about bringing your skates, we're ice-free!

The Tampa Zombie Run

Everybody loves zombies! Well, mostly everybody. We're giving you the chance to see some of Tampa's best un-dead as you run the trails.

Tampa Sinkhole Challenge

Run through an obstacle course of the FDOT variety. Complete with construction workers yelling at you! This is your chance to yell back and get some revenge for all of your traffic woes. (We're looking at you, I-275.)

The Cheater's Course (A Shortcut)

If you don't like long runs, this is the spot for you! Take a seat and sip a cool drink while a shortcut knocks off 1K of the 5K.

Pop Art Painting For Charity

Let the spirit of Tampa artists guide you, as you and a thousand other runners help to create a pop art masterpiece that will be auctioned off for charity.
